SCSB is a collaborative platform where members share computing, storage, and digital resources in a unified ecosystem.
Unified Management Dashboard
LaunchPad is the unified management dashboard where members view, access, and manage their SCSB accounts and services. Experience seamless access, centralized control, instant enrollment, and automated service delivery.
View status and access information for all enrolled services from a single place.
Web Command Line Interface for manage and inspect SCSB services with no page navigation required.
Activate eligible services with one click through automated provisioning.
Use one sign-on credential to authenticate across all services on SCSB.
An active SCSB account is required to use LaunchPad. Usage documentation is available on SCSB Docs.
Grow the system and grow from the system.
Join SCSB by bringing an eligible device or service. This could be a NAS device, a hypervisor, a GPU card, or even a Wi-Fi network.
Prepare the device or service for use on the system. SCSB will provide turnkey resources and assist with the setup process.
SCSB credentials will be provided at this stage. Seamlessly authenticate and use all enrolled devices and services on SCSB.
Detailed eligiblity and enrollment information are available on SCSB Docs.
SCSB links independently operated systems into a unified environment. From storage devices tographics workstations, devices and services connect through a unified system, forming an integrated network of resources.
Through a unified identity and access layer, each connected system can be securely authenticated and accessed with one single sign-on credential, enabling members to seamlessly access these devices and services.
Lightweight environments for running applications and services consistently across different hosts, ensuring portability and scalability.
Access points that use RADIUS authentication to seamlessly connect members to on-premise networks, providing secure Wi-Fi access across locations.
Network-attached Storage devices that provide shared file access for backups, archives, and collaborative data workflows across connected environments.
Make some room and join an existing NAS device for use on SCSB. Minimum storage capacity requirements apply.
See comprehensive guideVirtualization hosts that run and manage multiple systems on shared hardware, supporting scalable and flexible compute and testing environments.
GPU-equipped systems designed for rendering, visualization, and AI workloads such as model training or inference tasks.
Microsoft Entra ID is used as an enterprise-grade identity backbone, delivering secure federation throughout the system.
Data minimization principles are followed to collect only the necessary information required for service functionality and regulatory compliance.
Every access request is verified in real time through short-lived credentials, device checks, and conditional policies to enforce least-privilege access.
SCSB limits data sharing to essential operations and upholds accountability through transparent, verifiable data handling.
SCSB is built on enterprise-grade security with zero-trust access, policy enforcement, and encrypted connections across the collective. Every session and device is verified to keep resources secure and consistent.
Privacy is guided by data-minimization and accountability. Only essential information is shared, with transparent, verifiable handling to ensure members’ data remains protected.
Learn moreService providers can offer optional paid add-ons to make use of their available capacity and generate revenue from excess resources.
Providers are required to provide a transparent breakdown of every paid add-on showing how pricing is calculated, what each cost covers, and where each cent goes.
Add-ons can be offered as one-time purchases or recurring subscriptions, giving providers flexibility in how they price resources and members choice in how they subscribe.
Adaptive payout options allow providers to choose when and how to receive earnings, including preferred currency and payment method, directly through LaunchPad.
SCSB contributes one percent of each payment to support carbon removal through Stripe Climate. A portion of the revenue is directed to help early-stage companies in Frontier’s portfolio move breakthrough carbon removal technologies from the lab into real-world deployment. Learn more
Contributions are not tax deductible because SCSB is not a registered charity.
SCSB exists to maximize the use of existing digital resources. Rather than allowing spare compute, storage, or network capacity to remain idle, the platform enables members to share excess capabilities and, in return, make use of those offered by others. This creates a balanced exchange model that promotes efficiency and reduces the need for isolated infrastructure ownership.
Built not for profit but for participation, the platform focuses on contribution and sustainability. By facilitating access to temporary workloads, additional storage, and other shared resources, it removes the necessity of purchasing or maintaining full systems for occasional tasks. Each participant serves as both provider and beneficiary, sustaining an ecosystem that remains efficient, equitable, and self-supporting.
Shared growth through contribution, reciprocity, and responsible resource use.
Operates without bias or profit motive, serving the collective good.
Unified and effortless access to shared resources across the system.
Built to connect varied devices under a transparent, inclusive framework.
SCSB brings together shared capacity from across the network to power what comes next. Every connection contributes to a system that is open, adaptive, and strengthened by participation.
